I've decided to close out the Colorado Musing blog and begin anew
at Word Press. I'm doing this for two or
three reasons. One, there's a very, very
remote chance we may leave Colorado. The
big government types seem to be trying to take over the state government and
that would create an intolerable atmosphere because, of course, taxes will go
up significantly, and there will be an unconscionable increase in government
interference in our lives. If the trend
continues, we may feel forced to consider a more conservative state like
Wyoming or Utah. Obviously, leaving
Colorado would make the name and url of the blog completely inappropriate. Still, that's not the main reason. Frankly, I'd like to get away from the
Google miasma. That outfit seems to be
everywhere, and into everything, and, when they announced the end of Google Reader,
it began to make sense to find another host for my blog. Finally, although Word Press may not be much better
in terms of privacy, there are a number of features offered there that I would
like to make use of, none of which seem to be available on blogger. So, now all posts will be on my new blog,
Being Catholic, located at http://inconversion.wordpress.com.
I'll also start work on a new oblate blog which should appear in
the next month or so. I think I will
steal a title from a blog that closed a couple of years ago that I was sorry to
see go -- As An Oblate, but I’ll announce that, the start date and new url as
plans firm up.
I'd
like to thank all who've stopped by here over the years, I appreciate your
loyalty, and I hope you enjoy my new effort over at Word Press. Remember, it's at: http://inconversion.wordpress.com. I look forward to seeing you there.
